We have a fixed small business price of £25.00. 00 for a basic service of 2 extinguishers with no additional charges.
There are 2 types of service required, a ‘basic’ service and an ‘extended’ service. Details of these can be found below.
Water, AFFF, Foam, Dry Powder extinguishers require an ‘extended’ service every 5 years.
CO2 extinguishers require an ‘extended’ service every 10 years.
Basic Annual Service
This is an annual fire extinguisher service which includes weighing the extinguisher, checking for damage and corrosion, testing any gauges and discharge pipes/horns, lubricating where necessary and replacing seals.
Extended Service
This is 5 yearly fire extinguisher servicing where the extinguisher is discharged and refilled (if not damaged internally), except for CO2 fire extinguishers when they must be sent away for extensive testing every 10 years and dry powder which are replaced with new items if considered appropriate (environmental reasons). CO2 extinguishers are also replaced with new items at this point.
Our Servicing Engineers
Our engineers are extinguisher service engineers and will service your extinguishers to BS5306 standard to ensure your extinguishers are maintained in full working order AND we will provide a certificate detailing the servicing undertaken.
