The general fire awareness course is suitable for everyone as the lessons learnt can be used both within the workplace and at home to make any environment safer.

Course overview

All our fire safety courses are tailored to the bespoke needs of our clients, however the course is of 1.5 hours duration and is designed to raise the awareness of students to the REAL DANGERS associated with fire and smoke, the importance of maintaining fire your fire safety measures and how to safely escape to a place of safety.

Aims and objectives

By the end of the course, the students will:

  • Understand the causes of fire, basic fire prevention and be able to identify fire hazards in the workplace
  • More fully understand the dangers of fire including the speed of spread and its development 
  • Understand the action to be taken upon discovering a fire
  • Understand the importance of maintenance of fire safety measures

Location

The course can be delivered at a suitable location for learning either at the workplace or at a mutually convenient external location. Additional costs may be incurred for booking external venues.
